About Kestaş
Founded in 1985, KESTAŞ is the undisputed leader in Turkey in the production of broaching tools. With a 7,000 m² covered production area and a team of engineers and technicians, each an expert in their field, the company manufactures broaching tools, as well as all types of broaching machines and broach-related spare parts. The broaching tools we manufacture are designed in accordance with national and international standards.

Heat Treatment Facility
In 2006, Kestaş achieved a first by establishing its own heat treatment facility, which enables the company to harden broaches with a diameter of 350 mm and a cutting length of 1,600 mm, for a total length of 2,000 mm.

Our company has established, documented, and implemented the KESTAŞ A.Ş. Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard. In addition, to meet the quality requirements of its automotive industry customers in a global context, the company has established and completed its optimization for the IATF 16949:2016 quality system

OUR HISTORY
Our company began its commercial operations in a 140 m² facility at the Bayrampaşa Birtaş Industrial Park. The production of short broaching tools, the sharpening of broach sets, and contract broaching operations were carried out there.
As the number of machines and operators increased, the company moved to the Yenibosna Doğu Industrial Park, which has 400 m² of indoor space. Production of broaching machines also began at the Yenibosna facility.
To accommodate its expanding product line, the company built a facility with 7,000 m² of indoor space at the Hadımköy Kos-Koop Industrial Park and relocated there.
Our company has established, documented, and implemented the KESTAŞ A.Ş. Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. In our Quality Management System, no clause of the ISO 9001 standard has been excluded due to the nature of our organization and products.
Our company has established a specialized heat treatment facility in its own building for the hardening of broaching tools. Today, we are able to harden broaching tools with a diameter of 350 mm and a cutting length of 1,600 mm, for a total length of 2,000 mm.
Control systems capable of measurements with an accuracy of 0.002 mm have begun to be actively used.
Our company has begun implementing CNC technology.
Having completed the necessary work to integrate with our automotive industry customers and maintain the highest level of quality in joint mass production, our company has earned the IATF 16949:2016 certification from the Germany-based certification firm DQS.
Our machining capabilities have been enhanced through investments in a CY-axis CNC lathe, a 4-axis CNC machining center, and a CMM.
With the investment in 5-axis grinding centers, production of high-end broaching tools has begun.
Our company continues to invest in and conduct R&D to continuously improve our design, measurement, and manufacturing techniques.
